Indoor Soccer
Is it OK to wear indoor soccer shoes for a mile run of 3?

Good morning. my running shoes are completely ruined (Long story, rain + mud and other things) and until I get new I have a pair of shoes indoor soccer I can wear sneakers (running shoes are not old). they are just your shoes classic indoor soccer, black and white adidas: http://dsp.imageg.net/graphics/product_images/p120978p275w.jpg my question is … can I go on a long term on these without periostitis or tibial other injuries?

If you have not used it, yes. These shoes are for the grass, if you could find a place to run on grass, it would be best for your feet. Running on grass is good for your feet anyway … builds strength due to the give grass. Shin splints usually occur over time due to the constant beating of many many miles. You would be fine for a 3 miler.
